RTN donates $7,500 to Brigham and Women’s Hospital COVID-19 Response Fund

WALTHAM, MA (May 19, 2020) — RTN Federal Credit Union has donated $7,500 to Brigham and Women’s Hospital through the Brigham COVID-19 Response Fund. The Brigham is one of RTN’s employer groups, and RTN serves as the Credit Union for Brigham employees.

Contributions to the Brigham COVID-19 Response Fund support the Hospital’s ongoing work to solve COVID-19 — providing a continuum of care for patients and families, protecting caregivers and staff on the frontlines, supporting the most vulnerable members of the community, and fueling innovative science that will increase testing and treatment capabilities.

“We are here to support our healthcare institutions and the healthcare heroes working on the frontlines of this crisis, many of whom are our members,” says RTN CEO and Treasurer Richard Wright. “We continue to uphold our commitment to keep our staff and members safe while maintaining business continuity to ensure we serve all our members.”

According to Susan Rapple, Senior Vice President and Chief Development Officer for Brigham and Women’s Hospital, “We are grateful to RTN for their unwavering support of the Brigham during this most critical time in our history. We are all in this together and with the continued support of our Brigham community, we will emerge stronger.”
