Sb1 Federal Credit Union selects 10 scholarship winners

PHILADELPHIA, PA (May 20, 2015) -- Sb1 Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce the 10 winners of their 6th annual college scholarship program. Each winner will receive a $1,000 award.

"We are pleased to offer scholarships to these gifted, hard-working and community focused students from 9 different private and public high schools and we wish them continued success in their academic careers. We understand that college expenses continue to increase and we are happy to provide this assistance in meeting those costs," said Sb1 Federal Credit Union President and CEO Rob Werner. “This program is one of the many ways we support education. These investments are vital to the future of a healthy community and they demonstrate our commitment to the communities in which we serve."

The winners of Sb1 Credit Union’s 6th annual scholarship program was based on academic excellence, ambition, accomplishments and on essays provided. Winners and their parents will be acknowledged at a special luncheon.
