Shell FCU opens Baytown Branch & celebrates with planned events
DEER PARK, TX (November 5, 2020) — With the celebration of their newest branch in Baytown, Shell Federal Credit Union is gearing up for its most memorable November yet. The staff is excited and ready to serve the community with the same exceptional service Shell FCU members have experienced since 1937.
Shell FCU broke ground for the Baytown branch, located at 7235 John Martin Road,in May 2020. On Monday, November 2nd, the Baytown branch opened for business with their grand opening week festivities to follow in mid-November. Anyone who lives, works, worships, attends school or regularly conducts business in Harris County, Texas is eligible to establish a $5 savings account and bank with Shell FCU. As a full-service financial intuition, Shell FCU is excited to give back to the communities surrounding the new Baytown location.
The Baytown grand opening week will be November 16th through 21st and feature an iPad a Day Giveaway. Anyone who visits the new branch and opens a new checking account, credit card or finances/refinances a $5k+ loan will be entered into the daily iPad drawing giveaway. In addition to the grand opening celebrations, Shell FCU is hosting a free Gas Giveaway on Saturday, November 14th. The first 100 vehicles will receive $25 of gas. The Gas Giveaway will be held at the Exxon/Timewise #862 located at 4500 Garth Rd. Baytown, TX 77521. Lineup for the event begins at 8:00 AM, followed by fueling at 9:00 AM.
