SkyPoint FCU expands team to enhance its operational excellence

Additions are in response to company’s current achievements and future growth goals, as well as its commitment to best serve its members

GERMAN TOWN, MD (November 15, 2022) — SkyPoint Federal Credit Union (SkyPoint), a premier, member-owned financial institution, announces the hiring of new Branch Managers for both its Rockville and Silver Spring locations, and a new Accounting Manager at its Germantown location. Due to company growth, pursuit of future goals and its commitment to best serve its members, SkyPoint has expanded the team to enhance the company’s operational excellence and its presence in Maryland’s Montgomery and Frederick Counties.

SkyPoint’s new hires bring decades of experience that includes:

  • Evens Bonny, Silver Spring Branch Manager – Evens has over 25 years of consumer/Commercial banking experience. As SkyPoint seeks to expand its presence in the Silver Spring market, Evens will serve a key role in sharing his leadership, management skills and Small Business acumen with the team to drive this effort.
  • Alejandro Barrios, Rockville Branch Manager – Alejandro is an accomplished banking professional with over 6 years of experience managing members’ relationships. He believes that analytical skills with a client-first approach is critical in this industry. Prior to joining SkyPoint, Alejandro was named the winner of the 2021 Valiant Award and has also been named one of the top tellers in Maryland.
  • Jason Cooke, Germantown Accounting Manager – Jason brings his unique background in accounting and banking to the SkyPoint team. With over 18 years of experience in accounting and banking, Jason looks forward to leveraging his expertise and sharing his knowledge with his new team in support of SkyPoint’s growth objectives.
