St. Luke Parish Federal Credit Union to Merge with Incenta Federal Credit Union

ENGLEWOOD, OHIO (Nov. 7, 2012) – St. Luke Parish Federal Credit Union ($8.9 million) in Dayton, Ohio, has agreed to merge into Incenta Federal Credit Union ($77 million) of Englewood, Ohio, a northern suburb of Dayton.  The merger was approved by both credit unions’ boards and will be effective Nov. 13, 2012.

Established in 1958, St. Luke Parish FCU has provided service to 11 Catholic churches located in Montgomery and Greene counties in Ohio.  Its 2,151 members now join the 9,034 members of Incenta FCU.

Originally named DP&L Employees FCU when it was formed in 1935, Incenta FCU will now exceed $85 million in assets and 11,000 members when the merger takes place.

Incenta FCU President and CEO Cheryl Roser said that the addition of St. Luke will help the credit union continue to impart its mission of looking out for members’ needs by building valued relationships through providing personalized financial solutions.

“Our partnership builds on the strengths of both institutions to provide an important resource for our community,” Roser said.

According to Roser, the merger will not affect the status of its current members, and all members will now have access to eight different branch locations.
