Supervisory Committee Chairman named Secretary of Administration!
YORK, PA (January 11, 2019) — First Capital Federal Credit Union’s Supervisory Committee Chairman has been named Secretary of Administration by the Wolf Administration. Michael Newsome officially took over the role of Governor Tom Wolf’s Secretary of Administration on Monday, January 7, 2019. In his new role, Newsome will oversee the enterprise functions of human resources, information technology, continuity of government and record management.
Prior to his cabinet position, Newsome served on the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board for more than three years. He had worked as the Vice President and CFO of the Wolf Organization for seven years before he retired. Mr. Newsome has more than 37 years of accounting and finance; management; human resources; customer service; technology, and loan management-related experience.
