TDECU employees promote a college-going culture during GenTX Day

LAKE JACKSON, TX (June 30, 2014) — TDECU employees participated in GenTX Day by donning their favorite college t-shirts to show their support for creating a generation of Texans among whom going to college is a given.

GenTX Day is hosted by Generation Texas, a non-profit organization committed to building a college-going culture that encourages Texas students to continue their education beyond high school. In this community wide event, individuals all over Texas wore t-shirts from a variety of universities and colleges to increase awareness about college attendance.
