TMG CTO Pam Brodsack named Business Innovation And Leadership finalist for 2016 Iowa Women Of Innovation Awards

Award winner to be announced on November 9 in Des Moines

DES MOINES, IA (October 28, 2016) — Payments processor TMG today announced Chief Technology Officer Pam Brodsack has been named a finalist in the Business Innovation and Leadership category of the prestigious Iowa Women of Innovation Awards.

Brodsack has dedicated more than 20 years of her career to the financial services sector. As a technology expert for TMG, she is leading the company’s exploration of the potential for blockchain technology in financial services. Author of the white paper “Will Blockchain Change the World,” Brodsack is rapidly becoming an important contributor to industry-wide conversations around the emerging technology.

Developing secure environments for predictive analytic models is instrumental in helping TMG’s credit union and community bank clients participate in the big data revolution. “Pam’s strategic approach to technology solutions and her results-oriented leadership style has taken TMG’s technologies – and our clients’ successes – to new levels,” said TMG CEO Shazia Manus.

Prior to joining TMG in October 2015, Brodsack served as chief technology officer for Florida-based Enhanced Resource Centers (ERC), a national debt collections and business process company.

“My first boss invested in my career and continually encouraged me to push for me, which included pursuit of an executive level position at the age of 29,” said Brodsack. “I try to emulate that unwavering support for the things and people I believe in because I saw how much of an impact it can have.”

The Iowa Women of Innovation Awards celebrates women leaders in business, government or academia across the fields of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). The Technology Association of Iowa will recognize finalists and category winners during an award dinner at the Community Choice Credit Union Convention Center in Des Moines on November 9, 2016.

“As evidenced by last year’s winners, there are incredible advancements being done is every corner of the state, and our goal is to bring that conversation to the forefront,” said Sondra Ashmore, co-chair of the Women of Innovation planning committee, in an August press release announcing the award nomination period.
