Together, All the Way®: Cigna recognizes COCC for employee well-being
SOUTHINGTON, CT (June 24, 2019) — Cigna has selected COCC as one of three Connecticut companies as a recipient of the 2019 Well-Being Award, recognizing its passion and investment in employee health. This award highlights companies in various industries that change the workplace culture through leadership, organizational foundation, policy and environment, program implementation, and participation. With more than 400 applicants nationwide, COCC was awarded the distinction of Honorable Culture of Well-Being.
COCC has proved itself to support employees through the Worksite Wellness Program. Leadership implemented an organizational culture that supports health initiatives such as a walking program and an on-site gym. Employees can also use a VARIDESK adjustable workstation, a sit-stand solution that encourages movement in an active workspace. The variety of health initiatives are intended to include every employee and to address each employees’ needs.
