TraceSecurity Launches TraceCSO Partner Portal to Expand Partner Branding Opportunities and Make Account Management More Efficient

TraceCSO Enables Partners to Better Support Customer Base with Multi-Account Management, Extended Support Functionality and White Label Capabilities

BATON ROUGE, LA (July 30, 2013) — TraceSecurity, a pioneer in cloud-based IT governance, risk and compliance (GRC) solutions, released enhancements to its flag-ship software solution TraceCSO, extending its market-leading IT GRC capabilities to enable partners to more efficiently support TraceCSO customers from a single interface within the software and end users to receive control provider recommendation systematically during the remediation process.

TraceCSO is the industry’s first cloud solution for a holistic and risk-based information security program that delivers comprehensive visibility and accountability for improved risk and compliance profiles across all areas of an organization. TraceCSO allows organizations of any size, industry or security skill set to evaluate, create, implement and manage a comprehensive risk-based information security program, to protect their organizations from today’s top information security risks.

“Our customers come from every industry and have very different compliance requirements. TraceCSO allows each of them to have immediate access and visibility into their current risk and compliance profile and helps to solve the most complex of their business challenges,” said Jim O’Brian, CISO and Security Practice Director of Choice Solutions, an IT consulting organization serving clients in the Central US. “We quickly decided TraceSecurity would be a perfect Choice Solutions partner because TraceCSO reinforces our company philosophy and commitment to innovation.”

Directly within the TraceCSO Partner Portal, Consultants, VARs and MSSPs will now have multi-account visibility and actions when performing services, such as Risk Assessments, Compliance Reviews, Vulnerability Management and IT Audits, to support their customer base. Partners can add pre-populated demo accounts for prospects to experience TraceCSO with no cost or commitment, and have the ability to directly manage support requests – all aimed to reduce the time required to service accounts and better support them from a centralized location.

TraceCSO has always assisted customers with strategic recommendations to further reduce risk to their data. Now, with the addition of the Control Partner Referral Program, TraceCSO will systematically refer specific control solutions to customers during the remediation process. This enhancement provides end users with more direction and expertise, and control partners both direct and indirect revenue opportunities.

“The Asbury Group Integrated Technologies is excited about the new capabilities TraceCSO will bring to our organization. It streamlines the management of our TraceCSO customers by allowing us to see and manage them directly within the software solution,” said Gregory Smith, Senior Solutions Architect with The Asbury Group Integrated Technologies, an IT consulting organization based in Maryland and Pennsylvania specializing in senior living communities. “The most exciting thing for me is the ability to monitor multiple customers’ compliance status from a single console. This gives us the ability to offer GRC solutions with the same model that we use for other managed services for our customers.”

This past February, TraceSecurity and Qualys announced TraceCSO’s seamless integration with the QualysGuard® Vulnerability Management (VM) solution to enable organizations to leverage their existing technology investments when deploying comprehensive IT GRC programs. With the integration, organizations can realize greater strategic value using the TraceCSO centralized visibility and management interface to access and manage vulnerability data from QualysGuard scans to deliver a complete risk-based information security program that leverages TraceCSO’s workflow, ticketing, alerting, reporting and governance capabilities.

“Continuing to support our channel partners through strategic integration, expansion and technology development is key to our vision and commitment to innovation that keeps our customers one step ahead of the threat landscape,” said Peter Stewart, president and CEO of TraceSecurity.  “TraceSecurity will remain agile to industry demands and ensure its partners can deliver, and customers will have, the most complete information security program to best meet their needs.”

Unlike current information security program solutions, which simply provide a console and no remediation tools, TraceCSO identifies and prioritizes risk to an organization’s information and identifies, implements and audits security controls. To help organizations stay current with the latest regulatory mandates specific to their industry, TraceCSO leverages a global database of hundreds of authorities and more than 60,000 regulations and citations.
