Travis Credit Union Names Misun Thompson Senior Vice President, Chief Operations Officer
VACAVILLE, CA (August 5, 2013) — Patsy Van Ouwerkerk, president and CEO of Travis Credit Union, announced the appointment of Misun Thompson as the new senior vice president chief operations officer.
As COO, Thompson will continue to work closely with the senior management team to ensure the strategic direction and the overall quality of operations are appropriately executed across two frontline business units: operations and sales and service.
Thompson, who originally joined Travis Credit Union in 1999, previously served as the credit union’s vice president of collections, insurance and investment services where she was responsible for minimizing losses to the credit union through strategic planning, growing insurance products and developing the Travis Financial Services investment relationship with members. She brings more than two decades of financial services industry experience to her new position.

Thompson is an active board member of the local Christmas Wish program. Under her leadership, Travis Credit Union has been named the number one corporate sponsor for the last eleven years.

Thompson is a graduate of Western CUNA Management School, class of 2002.
