TRUE Community Credit Union announces 2026 scholarship recipients

Scholarships of $1,000 each were awarded to eight students

TRUE Community Credit Union is proud to support local students in pursuing higher education and is pleased to announce its 2026 scholarship recipients.

“We are so proud to celebrate our 2026 scholarship recipients and the bright futures ahead of them, says TRUECCU Chief Community Impact Officer Sarah Ermatinger. “Supporting their education is one way we fulfill our promise to help these students write a life story that stretches beyond their imagination. We can’t wait to see where their work, dreams and determination take them next.”

TRUECCU awarded eight students with a $1,000 scholarship each. This year, students graduating high school in the 2026 graduating class and students over the age of 23 that have a high school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) and are now seeking a degree or returning to complete their degree had the opportunity to apply.

For more than 30 years, TRUECCU has proudly partnered with local schools through its Partnership in Education program and values every opportunity to support students across the state. Students will be able to apply for scholarships in the next school year beginning January 2027.

The recipients of the 2026 Scholarships are:

  • Christopher F, Michigan Center High School
  • Chloee T, Western High School
  • Claire S, Napoleon High School
  • Georgia T, Jackson High School
  • Jonathan S, Northwest High School
  • Julia S, Concord High School
  • Zoey B, Springport High School
