WINSTON-SALEM, NC (May 28, 2019) — Truliant Federal Credit Union announced plans today to open the Triad Commercial Lending Office at 600 Green Valley Road in Greensboro, and to relocate its W. Friendly Avenue branch to the site.
The 4,330-square-foot office space is located just off Wendover Avenue at Friendly Shopping Center on the corner of Friendly Avenue and Green Valley Road, on the first floor of a three-story office building facing Wendover Avenue. The opening and branch relocation is planned for the fourth quarter of 2019.
“As we continue to increase our presence in Greensboro, it is essential for Truliant to establish our Triad Commercial Lending Office. Our intent is to let the Triad business community know that we are here to serve their financial needs. It is also important that our branch offices be in a convenient location to continue to grow brand awareness and serve our communities,” said Anderson Langford, Chief Operating Officer.
The commercial lending office will include a Commercial Market Executive for the Triad, with overall responsibility for the credit union’s area member business lending portfolio and strategic management of the office’s commercial lending team.
“By establishing a Commercial Market Executive for the Triad our intent is to have a leader who understands the market dynamics, who can grow business relationships, and be a strong proponent in our community,” Langford said.
The team of commercial lenders will focus on building business relationships and meeting credit needs in areas including commercial and owner-occupied real estate, operating lines of credit, debt refinancing and restructuring, and SBA 7a/USDA government guarantee programs.
The new office will house thirteen employees, including a team of four experienced commercial lenders and nine branch staff. The building’s full-service branch will replace Truliant’s current W. Friendly Avenue location at 6912 Downwind Road in Greensboro. The new branch’s open floor plan including teller pods removes barriers to allow for a more consultative approach to member interaction. This unique design concept focuses on modernization, service and member experience which embraces the credit union’s culture of improving lives.
The new branch provides member-owners with the latest in financial products and services while maintaining a focus on the personal attention and convenience. It will also feature an interactive kiosk terminal, which allows members to watch member testimonials, learn about Truliant’s history, find information about promotions, tutorials, and more.
In December 2018, Truliant opened a new free-standing branch office off New Garden Road, and plans to open another new location on Battleground Avenue in July, giving the credit union five offices in Greensboro. Truliant opened a second Asheboro location in 2018.
