TruMark Financial® Credit Union Named One of the Best Places to Work in PA for 4th Year in a Row
TREVOSE, Pa. — A consortium of business leaders recognized TruMark Financial® Credit Union among the Best Places to Work in Pennsylvania 2012 at an awards ceremony at the Lancaster County Convention Center, on Nov. 29. Recognized for the fourth year in a row, the credit union ranked 5th in the “large-sized company” category, consisting of 251 employees or more. This marks the third consecutive year TruMark Financial ranked in the top ten.
The award identifies, recognizes, and honors the best places to be employed in Pennsylvania, benefiting the state’s economy, its workforce, and businesses.
The awards program is a joint public/private partnership between Team Pennsylvania Foundation, the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development, the Pennsylvania Council of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), and the Central Penn Business Journal.
“Receiving this recognition is an honor, particularly since a significant component of this rating comes from our employees who were independently surveyed and asked to rate our company,” said JoAnn McCausland, senior vice president of human resources.

To be considered for the award, nominated companies from across the state are evaluated on two parts. The first part, worth approximately 25 percent of the total evaluation, consists of evaluating the company’s workplace policies, practices, benefits, and other information. The second part, worth approximately 75 percent of the total evaluation, consists of a survey employees complete to measure their employee experience. The combined scores determine the top companies and the final ranking.
