Trunomi named Technology Innovation Award Winner by TechAwards
KYC compliance platform recognized as an International Innovation of the Year
HAMILTON, BERMUDA and MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA (November 26, 2014) — Trunomi, the pioneer of B2Me for the financial industry and a provider of Know Your Customer (KYC)-compliant technology for regulated entities (RE) and consumers, has been recognized as the Technology Innovation Award winner for the category of International Innovation of the Year by TechAwards. The award is designed to recognize the achievements made in information technology in Bermuda and further motivate and encourage the development of the sector through academic, industry and charitable pursuits.

The TechAwards are in association with the Bermuda Department of E-commerce under the Ministry of Education and Economic Development. The Department of E-Commerce works to foster a culture of technology and e-business in the region, establishing Bermuda as a leader in innovation. The awards also intersect with Global Entrepreneurship Week, a celebration of those who drive economic growth and expand human welfare.
Trunomi recently launched its TruHub and TruMobile solutions, which help REs such as banks on-board customers five times faster at 20 percent of the cost of today’s manual, inefficient process. The TruMobile app for consumers, the first of its kind, allows consumers to directly manage permissioning, provisioning and updating of their KYC datasets and personally identifiable information (Pii) from their mobile device.
