After an extensive search, Sierra Central Credit Union is pleased to announce Rhonda Turner as the next Vice President of Human Resources. Rhonda is taking over the role from Corinne Davis, who for 23 years has added significantly to the success of Sierra Central and will be missed by both members and staff, alike.
“I was sad to see Corinne leave, but very excited to welcome Rhonda to Sierra Central Credit Union. We are confident she will be a valuable and resourceful addition to Sierra Central Credit Union as the Vice President of Human Resources,” said Senior Vice President of Corporate Administration, Barbara Menefee, when asked for comment.
Rhonda has nearly 20 years of experience within human resources. She is coming to Sierra Central from Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Lake Tahoe where she was the Director of Human Resources for two years. Before that, Rhonda was the Director of Human Resources for Feather Falls Casino, Lodge & Brewing Company. Prior to that, Rhonda was with Lundberg Family Farms for nearly eight years as the Human Resources Manager. Rhonda has a Bachelor’s Degree of Business Administration with an Emphasis in Human Resources Management from Western Governors University. She is also certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).
When asked about her new position at Sierra Central Credit Union, Rhonda said, “It is an honor to join Sierra Central Credit Union as the Vice President of Human Resources. I am very much looking forward to being part of such a passionate and committed organization and working with Barbara and the team.”
