United Heritage Credit Union named a top workplace

Employee Feedback Determines Austin Honor for Fifth Consecutive Year

AUSTIN, TX (November 18, 2014) — United Heritage Credit Union is pleased to announce that it has been selected as one of The Austin American-Statesman Top Workplaces for 2014. This marks the fifth consecutive year the Credit Union has been awarded the Top Workplaces honor.

The Top Workplaces are determined based solely on an employee survey conducted by WorkplaceDynamics, LLP, a leading research firm on organizational health and employee engagement. WorkplaceDynamics conducts regional Top Workplaces programs with 40 major publishing partners across the United States.

WorkplaceDynamics surveyed United Heritage employees anonymously and asked them to evaluate the organization on aspects such as the quality of leadership, compensation and benefits, if the work is rewarding and other important factors related to job satisfaction. More than 90% of the Credit Union’s employees responded to the survey. The positive responses ranked United Heritage 22 among the top 30 mid-sized businesses in the Greater Austin area.

Buddy Schroeder, CEO for United Heritage states, “It’s an exceptional honor to receive the Top Workplaces distinction five years in a row. The Credit Union is grounded in the “People Helping People” philosophy and that translates into how we do business both for our members and our employees. We have a great team at United Heritage; providing them with a quality work environment is important.”

The Credit Union gives special thanks to the staff members who have dedicated their skills, service and enthusiasm to the continued growth and success of United Heritage Credit Union and its members.

The Austin American-Statesman published the complete list of Top Workplaces on November 16, 2014. For more information about the Top Workplaces lists please visit topworkplaces.com.
