Unitus appoints David Fehrer as Executive Vice President, Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer

Previously Unitus’ Chief Information Officer, David Fehrer leads new role with strategic and innovative oversight for $1.7 billion credit union

PORTLAND, OR (August 30, 2021) — Unitus Community Credit Union announced the appointment of David Fehrer as Executive Vice President, Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer. In this new role, he is responsible for identifying, strategizing, developing, and driving transformative initiatives as well as championing the role of innovation and agility by aligning overall business strategy with innovative thinking.

David was previously a Vice President of IT and Innovation at Xerox before joining Unitus in 2016 as the Senior Vice President/Chief Information Officer. David brings more than 20 years of experience holding several global positions that span financial, telecommunications, healthcare and retail industries. David earned both a B.S. degree in Computer Information Systems and an M.B.A. as well as certifications in the Agile process.
