Vantage West hires Mark Papoccia as Vice President, Business Banking
TUCSON, AZ (October 23, 2020) — Vantage West Credit Union is pleased to welcome Mark Papoccia as their new Vice President, Business Banking. In his new role, Papoccia is responsible for oversight of the Credit Union’s Business Banking division. This includes managing the commercial real estate and business banking needs of current and potential Business Members and providing leadership for the Business Banking team.
Papoccia brings to Vantage West more than 32 years in the financial services arena. His wealth of experience includes having led Business Banking and Middle Market sales teams in addition to creating and managing centralized underwriting/portfolio units.
In his previous role as Head of Strategy & Segmentation – Commercial Banking for BMO Harris Bank, Papoccia was responsible for defining the customer experience through strategy creation and execution, segmentation, sales effectiveness, reporting, and transformation projects.
Mark graduated from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois with a double major in Finance and Marketing. He earned his Master of Business Administration in Financial Services from Dalhousie University. He has volunteered on several economic, nonprofit, and business development boards, and served as an adjunct business professor.
The alignment of Papoccia’s expertise and knowledge will enable Vantage West to serve the best interests of the Credit Union’s Business Member-Owners.
