Ventura County Credit Union employees recognized for outstanding performance

Financial advisors at VCCU honored by CUSO Financial Services

Ventura County Credit Union (VCCU) announces financial advisors Gina O’Callaghan and David Kanongataa — registered representatives affiliated with broker dealer and registered investment adviser CUSO Financial Services (CFS) — were honored with Pacesetter of the Year Awards at the 2018 CFS Annual Conference in San Diego.

The Pacesetter Awards honor the top-producing registered representatives among the more than 200 investment programs administered by CFS and Sorrento Pacific Financial (SPF). The awards are presented by CFS and SPF as a way to recognize leading financial advisors for their dedication to high standards, commitment to superior service and outstanding performance in delivering investment services to clients.

The award categories — bronze, silver and gold — are based on the gross dealer concessions (GDC) that the advisor generates through sales. With O’Callaghan, a bronze award recipient, producing $450,000 to $550,000 in GDC and Kanongataa, a silver award recipient, producing $550,000 to $650,000, they collectively generated over $1 million in GDC last year.

“The service that Gina and David provide our members is integral to our mission of improving the financial well-being of our members,” said Clint Lovinger, vice president of member services. “With over $170 million in assets under their management and over 1,200 active accounts, they are living out that mission each and every day.”

In addition to financial planning and investment services, VCCU also offers savings and checking accounts, loans, credit cards, online banking, and more. To learn more about VCCU’s services or to become a member, visit a branch or go to https://www.vccuonline.net.
