Vibe Credit Union employees attend Angels’ Place Race to support individuals with disabilities

NOVI, MI (May 17, 2023) — On May 13, 2023, Vibe Credit Union proudly sponsored the 16th annual Angels’ Place Race. The event, which supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, featured a 10K race, 5K race and fun run/walk in Clarkston.

As part of the sponsorship, ten Vibe staff members volunteered at the event, helping to ensure that everything ran smoothly for participants and spectators alike. Although Vibe has sponsored Angels’ Place Race for the past four years, this was the first year that staff has volunteered, making this year’s sponsorship especially impactful.

Vibe Volunteer, Quinn Murphy, said, “I loved the positivity of the participants. They were a ray of sunshine on what ended up being a cloudy morning. This was my first volunteer event of the year; it was so great to be hands-on with an inspiring organization.”

Since Jan 1, Vibe employees have completed over 1,000 hours of volunteer service in local communities. Vibe Credit Union is committed to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives (DEI) within its communities and supporting DEI organizations like Angels’ Place.

“At Vibe Credit Union, we believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to achieve their goals and live their best lives.” said Ngoc Do, Community Engagement Specialist at Vibe Credit Union.
