“You don’t want to wait any longer to ensure your spot at this year’s event,” said Gigi Hyland, Executive Director at the National Credit Union Foundation. “Tickets and sponsorships are going fast for what many refer to as the ‘Academy Awards”’ of the credit union movement. You’ll experience an unforgettable night of entertainment where you’ll be moved and inspired by this year’s Wegner Awards recipients.”

The awards ceremony celebrates the highest national honors in the credit union movement. The 2017 honorees are:

  • Outstanding Individual Achievement: Stan Hollen, retired President/CEO of CO-OP Financial Services;
  • Outstanding Individual Achievement: Maria J. Martinez, President/CEO of Border Federal Credit Union; and
  • Outstanding Program: The Cooperative Trust from the Filene Research Institute.

Whether attending the dinner or not, members of the credit union movement and other affiliated organizations also have the opportunity to recognize and congratulate award winners through a congratulatory message to be shown on the video screens during dinner.
