Win $2,000 to Fund Your Youth Initiative! One Month Left

There’s still time to enter NerdWallet’s Gen Y Credit Union Contest. NerdWallet, a popular personal finance website, is giving away $2,000 and $1,000 prizes to help credit unions of all sizes come up with engaging programs for young adults.

How to Enter

  1. Write a “commencement speech” to Gen Y. Give them advice about financial literacy and tips to better navigate the real world. Publish this on your website wherever you think it’s mostly likely to reach Gen Y youth. Make sure to link back to the contest page so NerdWallet can track your entry.
  2. Fill out NerdWallet’s simple submission form, and let them know your plan for connecting with Gen Y!
  3. Spread the word. Let others know about your contest entry via your news page, Facebook, Twitter (#GenYCreditUnion) or other social media.

Post your speech and submit your program proposal by June 30 for your chance to win. All credit unions are eligible for the top prize of $2,000 and the runner-up prize of $1,000, regardless of size. NerdWallet is also offering two special $1,000 prizes for smaller credit unions: those with less than $500 million in assets and those with less than $100 million in assets.
