Wingspan Wins Inc. Magazine’s Inaugural Hire Power Award
Servicer named 65th among top 100 “Real Heroes of the American Economy”
Dallas, TX – December 12, 2012 – Wingspan Portfolio Advisors, an award-winning diversified mortgage servicing company, has been named to Inc. Magazine’s list of the top 100 businesses in America in terms of job creation, a group the magazine refers to as the “Real heroes of the American economy.” Wingspan was ranked 65th among all types of businesses qualified by growth over the past three years, and was 6th among companies in the financial services sector.
“It is a great honor to be recognized among these impressive entrepreneurial companies,” said Steven Horne, Wingspan president and CEO. “It is the first year for the Inc. Hire Power Awards, so it is especially gratifying to be named in the inaugural class of recipients.”
Horne added, “The 100 companies recognized on the Inc. Hire Power Awards list created more than 73,000 jobs between 2008-2011, which is pretty amazing considering those jobs were generated during the peak of the recession.”

Horne expects to break the 2,000 mark in 2013. This year, the company expanded into offices in two additional buildings in the North Dallas area, now occupying about 300,000 square feet in its three facilities. “We are expanding our existing business lines, diversifying our services and developing new strategic relationships that will drive exceptional growth for the next several years,” Horne said.
Wingspan Portfolio Advisors was also recognized in November as the second fastest-growing company among the top 100 job creators in the Dallas area by the SMU Cox School of Business.
