Worldwide Foundation launches monthly giving program

Champions can spread generosity out over the course of the year

MADISON, WI (June 25, 2019) — Worldwide Foundation for Credit Unions—the international development and charitable arm of World Council for Credit Unions—now offers a monthly giving option to Champion supporters who want to change the world through credit unions and the cooperative model.

The monthly giving program is designed to give our Worldwide Foundation the ability to reach out to individuals and organizations that want to spread their generosity out in smaller installments.

“It is very convenient to make charitable giving a part of your monthly budget by setting up a recurring amount to be drawn from your credit card or bank account. Our monthly giving program makes that easy. We’ll also make sure you get one tax receipt at year’s end that details each monthly donation—making it easier to keep tabs on your giving,” said Mike Reuter, executive director of the Worldwide Foundation for Credit Unions.

Monthly giving will provide our Worldwide Foundation with a stable, recurring flow of donations, and add another revenue stream to compliment our annual appeal and sponsorship programs.

It is easy to become a monthly global Champion.

  • Visit doglobalgood.org/give
  • Select which fund or program you’d like to support with the monthly amount
  • Check the “Make This a Monthly Donation” box
  • Fill out your contact and payment info
  • Click the “Support WF” button

Champions who complete those steps will get a confirmation email and special message, welcoming them as monthly donors.
