The CUInsight Network podcast: Cyber threats – Adlumin (#58)

Featuring Paul Whittier, Director of Channel Sales, West Region at Adlumin

Thank you for tuning in to episode 58 of The CUInsight Network, with your host, Lauren Culp, Publisher & CEO of CUInsight.com. In The CUInsight Network, we take a deeper dive with the thought leaders who support the credit union community. We discuss issues and challenges facing credit unions and identify best practices to learn and grow together.

My guest on today’s show is Paul Whittier, Director of Channel Sales for the West Region at Adlumin. Paul talks about his passion for people and technology sales which led him on his career journey to his current role. Adlumin provides the enterprise-grade security operations platform and managed detection and response services to help organizations comply, detect, prioritize, and respond to cyber threats and IT operations in real-time. Adlumin’s goal is to revolutionize the way organizations secure sensitive data and help gain visibility to be aware of any cyber risks.

During our conversation, Paul and I chat about managing cybersecurity. Paul explains the goals of cyber criminals beyond tampering with member data, such as cyber ransoms. He describes how compliance can protect credit unions against threats and the importance of preparing for future threats by monitoring abnormal cyber events within their network. As we look to the future, Adlumin is focused on evolving their products and creating new solutions to stay ahead of future threats and continue supporting credit unions.

As we wrap up the episode, Paul talks about splurging on life experiences, traveling to different cities, and living life to the fullest. Enjoy my conversation with Paul Whittier!
