The National Credit Union Foundation’s annualHerb Wegner Memorial Awardsrepresent the highest national honors in the credit union system. Each year, the Foundation honors individuals and programs/organizations who have done outstanding work in the credit union system to improve the financial well-being of employees, members, and their communities.
Last year was a memorable event, as we celebrated not only four outstanding individuals, but it was the largest attendance in history with over 1,200 credit union professionals from around the US – and the world!
There may be people that you work with, an organization you are a part of, or a program that you have used that is worthy of being celebrated and honored at the 2024 Foundation Dinner Presenting the Herb Wegner Memorial Awards. If you’re not sure, here are three reasons to nominate someone for the award:
- An individual dedicated to promoting the credit union difference through innovative concepts and impactful leadership.
- An organization or program has provided innovative concepts, products, and/or services that have had a significant impact on the credit union movement.
- They deserve to have their achievements recognized in front of hundreds of credit union professionals from around the world.
