Credit Union Spotlight, presented by CUInsight, features credit unions taking action and changing their local communities. Join us as we recognize and celebrate the important work these credit unions do to bring their mission to life.
At Affinity Federal Credit Union, wellbeing isn’t just a buzzword, it’s a core value woven into everything they do. From offering personalized financial guidance to promoting mental, physical, and community health, Affinity is committed to helping individuals thrive in every area of life.
Wellbeing doesn’t happen in a vacuum. It’s driven by people—those who step up, reach out, and work to create stronger, healthier communities. That’s why Affinity created the Wellbeing Awards, an annual initiative to recognize individuals and organizations across New Jersey who are making a measurable difference in the lives of others.
Now in its second year, the 2025 Wellbeing Awards highlight change makers in three categories: financial, community, and physical wellbeing. The recipients represent a diverse group of change makers, all with one thing in common: a commitment to creating healthier, stronger communities.
Here are this year’s honorees:

Physical wellbeing

“Affinity is proud to highlight those that drive thriving wellbeing in our communities,” said Grant Gallagher, Director, Financial Wellbeing and Brand Communications at Affinity. “This year’s recipients have touched countless lives and had immeasurable impact on those around them.”
The work doesn’t end with an award, it grows with every person these change makers reach. Learn more about Affinity’s commitment to wellbeing here.
