This Sunday marks the final round of “The Championships,” known by most as Wimbledon, in London, England. Regarded as the most prestigious of all tennis competitions, Wimbledon, founded in 1877, is also the oldest tennis championship in the world. Few are ranked high enough to even gain admittance to compete in the tournament and only the very best of the sport are awarded the coveted silver gilt cup.
