The aquarium’s starfish became the “stars” of the show

JACKSONVILLE, FL (June 2, 2015) — 121 Financial Credit Union and its business services customer, the St. Augustine Aquarium were featured on The Morning Show on WJXT-TV.

David Marovich, Vice President of Business Services for 121 Financial, and Kathy Heister, co-owner of the new St. Augustine Aquarium in St. Augustine, Florida, were interviewed about the loan process Heister went through to build her new facility.

Heister explained that her aquarium did not have the usual business model that a restaurant or a trucking firm has, and that 121 Financial was able to help her with a loan through SBA. Marovich explained that his credit union makes loans to many different types of small businesses, from industrial tank cleaners to golf courses, and that his division works closely to help various business get established financially.

The big hit of the television segment was when Heister brought out her starfish from the portable saltwater tank. The television host and Marovich volunteered to handle the fish so they could be seen on TV.
