CAP COM and Colonie Senior Services Center deliver 200 gifts to adopted Christmas angels
ALBANY, NY (December 15, 2014) — CAP COM Federal Credit Union is expanding its holiday cheer to more than 200 seniors in the Capital Region through a partnership with Colonie Senior Service Centers. CAP COM staff and volunteers adopted these senior “angels” to help bring smiles to more faces this holiday season. CAP COM volunteers and Colonie Senior Service Centers staff will deliver these beautiful gifts to seniors who are part of Colonie Senior Service’s Umbrella of Colonie. The program gives elderly individuals the help they need to safely live on their own and maintain their independence.
CAP COM’s President & CEO Paula Stopera said, “Partnerships like this are the heartbeat of a better community. The holiday season is about so much more than just gift giving, it’s about creating traditions, making memories and sharing smiles.”
