Consumers Credit Union named to “101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For”
KALAMAZOO, MI (April 7, 2014) – Consumers Credit Union is proud to once again receive the honor of being named one of “West Michigan’s 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For” by the Michigan Business and Professional Association (MBPA). In 2013, the credit union was recognized with both the regional and the national “101 Best and Brightest” awards.
This year’s honorees represent many industries as diverse as automotive, insurance, hospitality, communications, and nonprofit. All will be honored on Thursday, May 8 at the MBPA’s annual symposium and awards program.
“The selection, recognition and awarding of this year’s Best and Brightest companies allows our organization to showcase their best practices. The honorees have clearly demonstrated why each of them would be an ideal place for employees to work,” says Jennifer Kluge, MBPA President. “The companies that we are recognizing this year are an example of exceptional human resource practices and represent high standards in today’s economic climate.”
To determine this year’s winners, an independent research firm evaluated each company’s entry on key measures in various categories, including Employee Enrichment, Engagement, and Retention; Communication and Shared Vision; Work-Life Balance; and Community Initiatives.
