Security Service Federal Credit Union donates $5,000 to South Central Multiple Sclerosis Society

SAN ANTONIO, TX (March 6, 2015) —  Security Service Charitable Foundation recently donated $5,000 to the Multiple Sclerosis Society to provide meaningful financial assistance to individuals living with MS.

“The MS Society’s financial assistance program is designed to help people maintain or enhance their independence, safety, health and quality of life. We are honored to be a part of this worthwhile effort,” said Brandy Ralston-Lint, vice president of public relations for Security Service.
In 2014, the MS Society helped 382 individuals with critical needs such as medical equipment and home modifications through the direct financial assistance program. “Through leveraging existing community resources, fundraising and receiving grant support from organizations like Security Service, we are able to work with each individual on a case by case basis to understand how we can make the most positive impact in finding solutions to the daily challenges of living with MS,” said Elaine Liserio, MSCIR, MSSMC, vice president of programs and services for the MS Society.
The Security Service Charitable Foundation helps further SSFCU’s corporate goal of community service by contributing to deserving organizations and causes in the credit union’s market areas.
