2022 NAFCU Board elections now open

Today, NAFCU’s 2022 board election cycle opens with several director positions available. NAFCU’s regional board positions reflect the NCUA’s restructuring of its regional offices. An email to NAFCU members today will include information on how to access the candidate application.

This year’s open director positions include:

  • At-Large, full three-year term
  • At-Large, two-year term
  • Eastern Region, full three-year term
  • Southern Region, full three-year term
  • Western Region, full three-year term
  • Western Region, one-year term

At-Large Director Jan Roche (President and CEO of State Department Federal Credit Union, Alexandria, Va.) is term-limited and is not eligible for re-election. At-Large Director Lisa Schlehuber (CEO of Elements Financial Federal Credit Union, Indianapolis, Ind.) will retire from her credit union in April and is not eligible for re-election, leaving her seat open for a two-year term.
