3 things you should do in 2023

If last year went by fast, this one is on track to be faster. Tuesday will be the halfway point of February. See what I mean? Have you already forgotten your New Year's resolutions? If so, here are a few ideas you can pretend you've been doing all year...

Look at the small picture: For your team, it’s great to have a big picture vision at the end of the road, but make sure you don’t lose sight of the small milestones that help you get there. Celebrate not only big wins but the smaller ones as well. Without these victories, you’ll never get to the end of the road.

Have open lines of communication: There are a lot of bad communicators out there, and we all fall into this category on occasion. Try to be more approachable and available to your staff than you usually are. Don't be too hands-on or too hands-off. Displaying your best version of being a good communicator can really impact your team and the way they work together.

Give good feedback: Your employees can’t improve if they don’t know what they need to improve. And you don’t have to micromanage to give feedback that will help your team grow.
