First New York Federal Credit Union lives by the philosophy of “People Helping People” and is committed to serving our members and our community.
On December 9th First New York joined together with local business partner, Catholic Charities Tri-County Services to load up the 11,520 rolls of toilet paper that were donated. Every year First New York kicks off their Annual Share a Roll campaign in November. Thanks to the donations received from their members, employees, business partners and community they have achieved the largest donation yet. This is an annual drive started in 2016 and has continued to grow over the years! Toilet paper is one of the necessities that is not covered under the food stamps program also known as SNAP benefits. This initiative is an area that First New York strives to assist with filling the gap.
