Karen Weis has been promoted to senior vice president of risk management at Numerica Credit Union. Weis will oversee the credit union’s legal and compliance and enterprise risk management teams.
“I’m excited to bring my knowledge and skills to support Numerica’s merging of the risk and compliance departments,” Weis said. “I look forward to building a sturdy risk management base for Numerica to continue to grow and offer amazing products and services to our members.”
In 18 years with Numerica, Weis has been a consistent leader for the legal team, including driving compliance initiatives, internal audits, and more. Most recently, she was the credit union’s vice president of legal and compliance.
