eSchool teaches importance of compliance to credit union frontline staff

Credit union frontline workers will learn the importance of compliance and the best way to communicate regulations to members by attending CUNA Frontline Compliance eSchool, to be held in five sessions, one Friday per month from May through September.

“This is an opportunity for all frontline credit union staff to learn how important it is to understand the fundamentals of credit union compliance, including how to recognize identity theft red flags and detecting suspicious activity that could indicate money laundering,” said Jess MacLagan, instructional design manager at CUNA. “We know not all credit unions have their own online training programs, but this school can help meet the need to train staff annually on federal regulations like BSA, FACTA ID Theft, and Privacy.”

This eSchool is designed for any member facing positions, including tellers, customer service representatives and branch managers.
