Hunt: Sec. Condoleezza Rice, Larry Sabato to keynote Virtual Caucus

NAFCU

In a new message to credit union advocates, NAFCU Executive Vice President of Government Affairs and General Counsel Carrie Hunt touted the association’s upcoming Virtual Congressional Caucus as a way to connect with policymakers on positive change for the credit union industry and hear from influencers, including 66th U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.

Sec. Rice will provide the opening keynote in a special panel with NAFCU President and CEO Dan Berger. The closing keynote will feature respected political analyst Dr. Larry Sabato, who will share his insights into the upcoming presidential election, voting trends, political landscape, and more. In addition to Sec. Rice and Sabato, the Virtual Congressional Caucus will include a robust lineup of speakers from the administration and Congress and allow credit unions to hold virtual Capitol Hill meetings.

“This is an election year, and it is extremely important – I can’t emphasize that enough – extremely important that we continue to express the credit union message, tell policymakers what’s important to you and your operations, so that we can continue the progress that we have made to make sure that credit unions are doing everything they can to help their members be successful,” Hunt said.
