How to increase positivity in your office

Trim the fat: Is a particular employee dragging everyone in the office down? Sometimes one person can kill the collective mood. If a negative employee is too much for the office to handle, it may be a signal that it’s time to make a change. Keep your eye out for the source of the negativity on your team.

Get outside: We’ve all experienced cabin fever. It’s a strange, depressed state that makes time slow down. While not as harsh, being cooped up for a few hours on a Monday can be similar. Find time to get out and stretch your legs and refresh yourself. Your mood will thank you later.

Set small goals: If you challenge yourself daily, you’ll be more focused on the task at hand. Small goals will keep you focused and feeling accomplished, while helping you complete those big goals that you’re going after.

Do some good: Helping others is always good for increasing your positivity. When you stop thinking about yourself and start thinking of other people, you’ll notice an improvement in your outlook. Find ways your team can do good together and watch the positive vibe in your office go through the roof.
