A “salesforce-light” product produces major loan leads for credit unions only

Plus improves member service via a contact solution

DES MOINES, IA (April 9, 2015) – Community Choice Credit Union (CCCU) in Des Moines, IA has recorded some impressive lead numbers with the use of CU Ratecheck. From April 1, 2014 through April 1, 2015, CCCU received just over 3,000 consumer loan leads totaling over $40 million in potential loans. 805 of the leads have been funded, while 240 are still in the process pipeline. Additionally, 231 mortgage leads were received during the same timeframe with a potential loan amount totaling $32 million.

“The need for CU Ratecheck for our credit union struck me while making dinner for my family using the All Recipes app,” stated Josh Cook, SVP of Operations/Bus Dev for CCCU. Cook continued, “While using the app, a Capital One credit card ad appeared on the screen, I clicked out of curiousity to see what their process was like. In three minutes tops, I was approved and was told the card would be in my hands in five days. It arrived in three. I knew our credit union had a problem that could be an opportunity if at least in perception, we could be faster. This the first thing CU Ratecheck solved.”

Online shopping cart abandonment has been a challenge for retailers for years and financial institutions are not excluded. This combined with increasing competition and rising technology cost to compete, seems to point to a need for a simple to use, easy to deploy lead generation and back-end management system, one that comes across as Salesforce-light and credit union industry specific.
