Align Credit Union’s Danvers branch receives Volunteer Business of the Year award from Northeast Arc

LOWELL, MA (June 18, 2015) — Align Credit Union is proud to announce that the staff at their Danvers branch received the Volunteer Business of the Year Award at Northeast Arc’s 4th annual Heritage Business Awards on June 10th. The awards program was hosted by Boston media personality Kim Carrigan and honors volunteers for their outstanding achievements and thanks business partners who support Heritage Business Services and Employment Programs for people with disabilities.

Align Branch Manager, Andrew Patton, along with his staff have been volunteering at the First Steps Childcare Center on a weekly basis as well as at Arc events such as the Casino Night fundraiser, a playground cleanup at First Steps and exhibit openings at the ArcWorks Community Art Center.

“It’s a very positive feeling to know that I can make a call or send out an email and the staff at Align will do all they can to make it happen,” said Suzanne Ryan, Director of Volunteers at Northeast Arc.  “Their hard work and dedication is greatly appreciated.”

“I’m so proud of our team at our Danvers branch,” said Align President and CEO Ken Del Rossi.  “Their commitment to the community and to helping others is heart-warming and inspiring.”
