AMOCO Federal Credit Union hosts 17th Annual Partners’ Strategic Planning Session

WEBSTER, TX (November 17, 2023) — AMOCO Federal Credit Union hosted its 17th Annual Partners’ Strategic Planning Session at Topgolf, Webster. The day began with AMOCO President & CEO, Shawn Bailey, welcoming the group and thanking the attendees for their partnership. The presentation was given in segments by members of AMOCO’s Executive Team. During the meeting, the Partner of the Year Awards were presented to Jerry McMillon from Clifton Larson Allen (CLA) and Brett Baker from SWBC. Darian Barrera from Fiserv was given a special shoutout for being a valued partner and attending all 17 Planning Sessions. After the meeting concluded, AMOCO’s Executive Team and business partners split into teams for some friendly golf competition.
This annual event aims to provide AMOCO’s strategic business partners the chance to engage with credit union leadership, acquire valuable insights into AMOCO’s strategic initiatives, network with other business partners, and to hear the credit union’s future anticipated efforts for continued success.
“AMOCO partners with over fifty various vendors to accomplish our mission of serving the financial needs of our members, and without them, we would not succeed,” AMOCO President & CEO, Shawn Bailey expressed. “We view our vendors as partners and intentionally try to cultivate meaningful relationships with them as exemplified by our Partners’ Strategic Planning Session. This has paid dividends more times than once for AMOCO in strategy development, contract negotiations, crises moments, and when seeking advice,” Bailey said.
