Connexus Credit Union announces new Debit Card Management tool to enhance security and data protection

Connexus Credit Union recently added Debit Card Management, a new Digital Banking feature that allows account holders to control how their debit card is used. Managed through the Connexus Digital Banking platform, Debit Card Management was designed to reduce fraud by providing members the flexibility to choose how they restrict or allow access to their debit cards.

Members can improve the security of their debit card by signing up to receive real-time alerts for both authorized and declined transactions over a specified dollar amount. Changes made to alert notifications are effective immediately. Users can also quickly freeze their debit card to prevent new withdrawals and purchases in cases of fraud, theft, loss or suspicious activity. Resuming regular authorized transactions can be done in just a few clicks – right from the member’s phone.
