Cooperative Credit Union Association announces new Board Chair, Officers, and Elected Members

MALBOROUGH, MA (October 19, 2023) — The Cooperative Credit Union Association (CCUA), serving credit unions throughout Delaware, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island, announces Frederick Reinhardt, President/CEO of Greenwood Credit Union, as the new Board Chair.

Upon conclusion of the annual business meeting, the CCUA is pleased to report that the following individuals were selected to sit in officer positions on the board:

Vice Chair: Anabela P. Grenier, President/CEO, Pioneer Valley Federal Credit Union;
2nd Vice Chair: Maurice W. Dawkins, President/CEO, American Spirit Federal Credit Union;
Treasurer: A. Scott MacKnight, President/CEO, Triangle Credit Union; and
Secretary: David Araujo, President/CEO, Service Credit Union.

“We extend our heartfelt thanks to Somerville Municipal Federal Credit Union President/CEO, Ron Draper, for his outstanding leadership as Board Chair, and warmly congratulate our recently named officers,” said Ron McLean, CCUA President/CEO. “Under the guidance of the new CCUA Chair, Frederick Reinhardt of Greenwood Credit Union, we look forward to continued success filled with new opportunities, and achievements for the credit unions we represent across all four states.”

While the make-up of the board remains the same after this year’s election, four members were voted to serve new three-year terms:

Anabela P. Grenier, President/CEO, Pioneer Valley Federal Credit Union;
A. Scott MacKnight, President/CEO, Triangle Credit Union;
Maurice W. Dawkins, President/CEO, American Spirit Federal Credit Union; and
Eileen Danahey, President/CEO, St. Anne’s Credit Union

The CCUA is governed by a board of eleven directors representing each state: Delaware, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island. In addition, a director is designated to fill each category: small asset size, large asset size, and general without regard to asset size.
