Credit Union recognizes top educators, staff

FRESNO, CA (November 1, 2023) — Educational Employees Credit Union (EECU) based in Fresno, CA, and the Tulare County Office of Education recently honored the top teacher, administrator and school employee at the annual Tulare County Excellence in Education Awards event.

Beth Dooley, EECU president and CEO, said the credit union is proud to sponsor the awards and she congratulated the honorees.

“The honorees go above and beyond to provide their students with the best education possible and they have our deep gratitude and appreciation for the critical roles they play in their students’ success,” Dooley said.

The winners were Jennifer Powers, Teacher of the Year; Sonya Yvonne Lopez, School Employee of the Year; and Tammy Bradford, Administrator/Manager of the Year.

The awards program was held at the Tulare County Office of Education.

The Tulare County program is one of six annual county events sponsored by EECU that spotlights exemplary educators and school staff. EECU serves 12 Central California counties and has 22 branches and more than 362,000 members.
