CU Solutions Group and Credit Union National Association (CUNA) today announced they are joining forces to celebrate International Credit Union Day with a nationwide advertising initiative of the Open Your Eyes to a Credit Union® awareness campaign on GSTV, a national video network delivering targeted audiences at scale across tens of thousands of fuel retailers.
Beginning October 11 and ending October 17, a fifteen-second Open Your Eyes to a Credit Union® ad will air at more than 20,000 fuel retailers and reach more than 44 million viewers.
Open Your Eyes to a Credit Union® is part of the credit union-led awareness initiative that is working to increase consumer consideration of credit unions. The campaign first launched in January and is now live in Arizona, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Carolina, North Dakota, South Carolina, South Dakota, Vermont and West Virginia.

Since 1948, International Credit Union Day has been celebrated on the third Thursday of October. It is a day of recognition and reflection, both on the history of the credit union movement and the millions of people credit unions serve and help worldwide. The theme for the 2019 celebration is “Local service. Global reach.”
