SANTA FE, NM (November 17, 2023) — Guadalupe Credit Union (GCU) proudly announces its recognition as a first-place winner of the Dora Maxwell Social Responsibility Community Service Award, presented by the Credit Union National Association (CUNA). This accolade highlights GCU’s significant contribution to emergency relief efforts during the devastating wildfires in Northern New Mexico.
In response to the wildfires, GCU swiftly provided aid, including financial assistance programs, donation drives, and volunteer support. These efforts demonstrated GCU’s dedication to community service and social responsibility. Alongside these initiatives, GCU’s free financial coaching services played a vital role in assisting members and the wider community in managing and recovering from the financial impacts of the crisis.
