National Credit Union Foundation releases 2022 Impact Report

MADISON, WI (March 2, 2023) — The National Credit Union Foundation (the Foundation) helped credit unions navigate the modern-day challenges of growing membership, managing risk, retaining talent and developing a mission-driven culture in 2022, according to an Impact Report published today.

The charitable arm of the U.S. credit union movement provided this support through grant initiatives, system-leading education and events, resource development and disaster relief—delivering on its mission to serve as a catalyst to improve people’s lives through credit unions.

The Impact Report provides greater detail of the organization’s far-reaching activities, including its signature Development Education (DE) program that celebrated a 40-year milestone in 2022; the CU FinHealthTM financial well-being event, hosted in partnership with the California and Nevada Credit Union Leagues and the Cornerstone League; and how almost $600,000 of disaster relief supported over 1,000 credit union employees and volunteers through the CUAid program.

As a 501©3, the Foundation’s work and impact is only made possible through the support of its donors.
