New CUES Strategic Innovation Institute sells out in its first year

MADISON, WI (June 11, 2014) — Fifty-five credit union executives are enrolled in Strategic Innovation Institute™ I, hosted at MIT Sloan School of Management, selling out the program and bringing it to capacity.

“I’m pleased so many credit union leaders realize what an excellent opportunity Strategic Innovation Institute offers; lessons learned there will help them grow their business. Plus, they will learn from esteemed faculty,” said Chuck Fagan, CUES’ president/CEO. “We developed this institute based on feedback from CUES members. It gives credit union leaders the opportunity to learn ways to solve common consumer challenges, and discover how to grow their business in ways that align with the traditions and culture of credit unions.”

Strategic Innovation Institute I offers an integrated curriculum of strategy, innovation, technology, and leadership.

Strategic Innovation Institute™ II will start in fall 2015 at Stanford Graduate School of Business, Stanford, Calif. This session will explore how to scale innovation, and provides attendees with the opportunity to explore ideation and design solutions to solve common consumer challenges.

Executives who complete both weeks of Strategic Innovation Institute and the between-segment assignment earn the Certified Innovation Executive (CIE) designation.
